Thank you for your prayers. As most of you guys are aware of the airport mishaps this past week – delaying flights, etc.  We were not sure what to expect with all our flights this week. Thankfully, we evaded any of these major delays.

10 of us left from Pensacola, FL on Tuesday morning. We took a 15-passenger van to Atlanta, in which we boarded our flight up to LaGuardia Airport. We then took a shuttle bus from LaGuardia to JFK, in which we met up with the remaining guys. These guys had left from other parts of the country as they saw fit from where they had been stationed in the summer months.

Then, all 23 of us boarded on our next connecting flight to Dubai. Since we had a 16 hour layover, that night, we stayed at a local hotel. Although we arrived in Dubai shortly after sunset, we were still able to site see many parts of the city. We saw many attractions including the Dubai Mall, the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world) and the Atlantis Resort (1st picture).

Now, on Thursday morning we board our second flight to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

Thank you for the continual prayers.
